Refund policy

Last updated 4 August 2026

Where you bought Globigo Pro decides who can refund it. This page tells you which of the three routes applies to you, because going to the wrong one wastes days.

Find out where you bought it

Open Settings → Globigo Pro in the app. It names the store your subscription came from. Or check your receipt: one from Paddle means the web, one from Apple or Google means it was bought inside the app.

Bought on the web — Paddle

Our online payments are handled by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your statement and on your invoice, and they process refunds.

  • Within 14 days of your first payment we will refund in full, for any reason, no explanation needed.
  • After 14 days, cancel any time and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part-used periods.
  • An accidental renewal you tell us about within 7 days of the charge, on an account that has not used Pro features since, we will refund.
  • A billing error or a duplicate charge is always refunded in full, whenever you notice it.

To ask: email [email protected] with the email address you paid with, or use the link on your Paddle receipt. We reply within 2 working days; once approved, Paddle returns the money to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days.

Bought inside the iPhone app — Apple

Apple handles these entirely. We cannot issue the refund — not as a policy, but because the developer has no mechanism to do it.

  • Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  • To stop future charges: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Globigo → Cancel.

Tell us anyway at [email protected]. We cannot move the money, but we can confirm to Apple what happened if they ask, and we would rather know something went wrong.

Bought inside the Android app — Google Play

  • Within 48 hours of purchase, request it through Google Play. It is usually automatic.
  • After 48 hours, contact us — for Play purchases we can request the refund on your behalf, though the final decision is Google’s.
  • To stop future charges: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Globigo → Cancel.

Your legal rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right can end early once you have started using the content and agreed it should begin immediately — which is what happens when Pro unlocks the moment you pay. Our own 14-day promise above is offered regardless of whether the statutory right still applies, so you are not worse off either way.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Cancelling is not deleting

Cancelling a subscription stops future charges and leaves your account and trips intact. If you want the account and its data gone, that is a separate action — see the account deletion page.
